I miss everyone too  But it doesnt look like the site is ever going to be the same as it was. Noone else is even bothering to check whos still here anymore

Hello to all old and new members of GH. Here we are into February
already, I have a feeling another year will go quickly for us. I hope you
all had a great Xmas and a safe New Year. For all our southern friends I
bet you are looking forward to either going back to school or even
better, having your kids back in school.
Some new and exciting things will be happening this year ( ( well we
hope )) LOL.
First we have the start of our new quizes to win either a magical item
or an ability. They are a time quiz of 12 questions, and this month we
are giving away the ability to talk to snakes. Something I am sure all
you green people would like. The winner will get this power for 6
months, upon which they relinquish it and let someone else have a go. There
will be a few rules but nothing major. We are trying to make it as
fair as possible to all.
I’d like to remind everyone that we have relaxed the rules somewhat. We
now offer different sizes on signatures and we will not be so strict
on spam anymore. Although we will still discourage it for we have the
ability to learn and progress. Just remember even those who are expert
RP.s all had to start somewhere.
I’d like to explain our RP areas. First we have the main areas, which
run in what we call real time. Like in real life, you can only be in one
place at a time. Its quite easy once you get the hang of it. We also
have 2 freeform RP areas. One is within the Real time, but instead of
moving around, you open up a new thread, and that thread can take you
anywhere you like, as long as it stays in Real Time. Our other Freeform
is not in real time, which means you can post in it anytime. The beauty
of this forum is you can post any story. You might be a Star Trek Fan
and wish to do a story with others as Klingons. This is the place to do
it.
We try to cater for all types. For those who do not like RP, we have a
great fan fiction area, where you can share your stories. If you like
to debate then out Discussions area might be ideal for you. For those
who wish to get right into the RP, we offer classes to gain points for
your house.

These are all other places to RP in between waiting for someone to post
in Real Time.
Also we have a new First Years Lounge. This will be a place for all new
people to go if they need a place to start. I know how intimidating it
can be when you first join a forum so its place to help you relax, by
mixing with others in the same position. The prefects will be there to
answer any questions.
One last thing before we sign off for this month. We are always on the
lookout for people who like to have a go at Moderator. Many of our
independent areas are in need of Moderators, so if you’d to give it a go,
contact either Sala or Clio.
